Well obviously I'm referring to the Liverpool v Chelsea game that just ended a sweet 20 minutes ago.
First and foremost, let me just say this. Congratulations Poo-boys, y'all finally stopped the Blue Ruski funded machine. By no means an easy feat. As for Torres, those 2 goals were sublime, pure class and you're now getting back to the Torres of old. Maybe we'll see you here at Stamford Bridge come January, but hey thats another story.
Personally, i don't think we played bad. Liverpool outplayed us tonight, and thats about it. Just a slight blip on the mark with no real setback because at the end of the day, we're still top of the table and thats what matters, regardless whether is it just a 2-point lead or 3-point or even 5-points. Hopefully Poo can kickstart their season from here, because as much as I dislike them, their fans deserve better, seeing that Poo fans are some of the more nonchalant and easygoing ones.
So there, no excuses for the loss, from a fan's perspective. We were outplayed and thats that.
However, what i don't really like from the outcome of this match and even prior to it, was how Man U supporters suddenly turned Poo fans. Real sweet of them aren't they? Its pretty annoying in a way, because whilst I understand Poo fans' need to win and their cheer, the cheers coming from Man U fans especially all over Facebook simply shows what type of supporter they are and how shallow can they be.
lines like "tonight I'm a Liverpool fan".....urgh c'mon you guys are supposed to be great rivals.
Given the same situation, I would've never prayed and hoped for Spurs or Arsenal to win in order to hand Chelsea an advantage. Thats what it means to have a derby rivalry. And therefore it really irks me when instead of Poo fans, i get Man U fans taunting me for Chelsea's loss. What a sweet irony ain't it?
Anyways, once again, good job Liverpool, but bottom line is, we're still top. Cheers
